Applied mathematics and data science for real-world engineering and technology problems.
As head of research at Kerno, I work on augmenting AI agents with observability data to proactively detect and fix production software issues. This involves graph analytics for microservice architectures — representing distributed systems as networks and applying graph-theoretic methods to identify anomalies, bottlenecks, and failure modes.
I have participated in mathematics-in-industry study groups, tackling short, intensive modelling challenges posed directly by companies. These have spanned problems in manufacturing, optimisation, and data analysis.
